We live during the times of constant flux. Such is the reality, whether we like it or not. Change is the essence of life and development, a cause for movement. We resist changes because we are not certain of the result and fear ambiguity threatening our stability in the accustomed way of life. Confidence in success, extensive experience, flexibility of perception and determination in actions is what the partners are looking for from external consultant for successful implementation of changes.
This set of requirements is complemented by several “secret ingredients”: friendly understanding, motherly support and external approval at every stage of implemented changes!

What I don’t do as a consultant:

  1. I don’t sell “magic pills” that fix all problems together. They do not exist!
  2. I don’t give advices on “what to do?” – you always know and understand your business better than any outside advisor!

How can I help:

  1. I will help to make a choice among several options the one, which will be most effective for your business.
  2. I will suggest “what is definitely not to be done” based on my experience of consulting partnerships of different sizes and various stages of organizational development.
  3. I will develop “To Do” a plan in order to achieve wanted result effectively and on time.
  4. I will identify “What are you risks?” in implementing selected decision and will help to prevent these risks.

Why is a good mother better than a smart father?

Problem-solving and change implementation consists of the two stages: search for the solution and implementation- what to do and how to do it. Being a practitioner, who has worked as an executive director in the companies – leaders of national legal business, I know enough about the “internal kitchen” of this business. Thus, the answer to the question “what to do?” always goes together with the answer “how to do it?”

I understand well enough that changes are about experiencing difficulties and fears. Thus, I support my clients throughout the whole process of change implementation. Support, approval and praise are extremely needed at times of leaving the comfort zone.

A “good mother” is the best in knowing what to do and how to do it, how to support, how to praise, or criticize, kindly and objectively! 🙂
